So Unpredictable!
October 3, 2007 (Wednesday)- Ma’am Aniana didn’t teach us today. That’s a good news. Well, everything’s okay. I had a good time and I felt so relaxed. However, Leona spoiled everything up. Most of my classmates were gone and there were only a few of us left. The spelling bee’s first elimination round was about to start that day. I was surprised. No one told us about it. Mary Grace’s gone so I participated in the spelling bee without her. Is it my fault to participate without her?
October 4, 2007 (Thursday)- I qualified for the next round. Out of about fifty students, only eleven were qualified. I’m happy of course but I guess she’s not. After I told her what happened, she felt disappointed. I can’t blame her, she won third place last year in the same competition. Anyway, that very same day, we proceed to the next round. Karen Mesina, Rio Natanawan, and Jainah Ramirez were tied in first place. Ma. Ila Jeanne Perez won second place. Me and Febe Lomboy won third. The list of those who were qualified for the championship is yet to be announced. I hope I qualified. It felt good. Somehow, I’m wondering. Does Mary Grace hate me?
